Rainy Weekend

This weekend was good for napping and hanging around the house in our pjs. It rained so much I was afraid we were going to float away. The rain was nice Saturday morning, but by Sunday we were all getting cabin fever. We even pulled out Avery Reese's Jumperoo, so she would have something different to play with. Here are some photos of us trying to keep Avery Reese entertained through the rainy weekend.

A New Friend

Avery Reese has always been fascinated with KC our chocolate lab, but in the last few days she has become enamoured with Abbey the cat. Since Avery Reese's arrival, Abbey hides out alot and is secretly hoping Avery Reese is not here for the long haul.........sorry Abbey, but she is staying. Last night, Avery Reese decided to take charge and show Abbey who was boss so she reached out to pet/pull her hair. It was very cute and Abbey, surprisingly stayed put and allowed Avery Reese to pet her. Ahhh, friends at last!!

Easter Sunday

Despite the torential rainfall, we had a nice morning at church. The service was great and all the kids looked so sweet in their new spring clothes. We were able to get a few family photos in front of the cross this morning too. Avery Reese loved her new Easter dress, she kept trying to eat it. We hope everyone had a nice Easter with their family!

My First Spring Break

Grandma Terri was gracious to spend her spring break with us in Sherwood spending quality time with Avery Reese. The two of them had way too much fun! Grandma Terri gave Avery Reese a new hairdo.....which I might add gave her an attitude. Grandma Terri had fun dressing her and redressing her in new and different outfits and bows throughout the day. And she apparently also introduced Avery Reese to Law & Order and Dancing with the Stars. All in all everyone had a great week and Brad and I really enjoyed the extra set of hands. Thanks Grandma T!

Just Roll With It!!

Avery Reese had a very exciting weekend, not only did she turn 3 months old......she rolled over! While laying on her back and playing on her playmat she decided to roll over on to her stomach. At first Brad and I thought this was a fluke, until she did it 3 more times yesterday and once again today. Watch her in action!
