Chocolate Puzzles

Recently we have discovered how much Avery Reese loves chocolate and puzzles, but just not at the same time (my OCD could not even handle that mess). Two weeks ago Avery Reese was taking antibiotics and she typically is not a good patient when it comes to medicine. We have previously used the sneak attack with the syringe and shot it in her mouth unexpectedly; she quickly caught on to that tactic. So this time around we tried the spoon medicine dispenser and she actually took it like a big girl without starting WW3. Oh, but did I mention that we had to bribe her with chocolate? That girl would drink a spinach and radish smoothie for some chocolate. You even utter the word and she is like "chocolate?, chocolate?".

One of Avery Reese's birthday gifts when she turned one, was a puzzle rack with 5 puzzles. I was really excited when my friend gave them to her as I knew we would spend hours together playing with her new puzzles. Much to my dismay, she never touched the things until about a month ago and now she is addicted. She would rather work a puzzle at night before bad than to read a book. And this girl can work every puzzle independently, the alphabet is her favorite.

I guess all that chocolate she eats is helping her fine motor skills as she works those puzzles over and over and over again.
