What's In A Name?

Seriously, being a mom of a 2 1/2 year old, being pregnant, being a wife, and having a full time job wasn't enough......I have to think of a name for this new baby boy! This is not a decision to take lightly.

Okay I didn't make the decision on my own, I did let Brad have a small say. But naming a child is a huge and overwhelming decision. This child will have the name we give him for the rest of his life......will he like his name, will he think it's stupid, will he think we are stupid?

But Brad and I actually found it easier to choose a name for our little boy, than to choose the decor for his room; so what does that say about us?

Drumroll...................................The name of our baby boy will be:

HUDSON PARKER

We haven't decided if we are going to call him Hudson or Hudson Parker, but we don't have to decide all that today. Now Hudson nor Parker has any grand meaning, but the most important thing is that Brad and I like the name.

Zoo Day

Avery Reese has really been using her imagination these past couple of weeks. Her favorite thing to pretend is that a tiger is in the house or on the highway and we have to hurry to find a hiding place.....to cute (and I just love the way she says tiger). So with her recent love of tigers she has been asking to visit the zoo, but Brad and I have just been busy the past several weekends. We finally had a free morning and packed up the car and headed to see the tigers at the zoo.

Since the weather has been so hot already, this will probably be my first and last trip to the zoo until the fall. It was very warm Saturday, but seeing how happy the animals made Avery Reese was totally worth it all the sweat. She enjoyed the tigers, the penguins, the giraffes, the monkeys and the elephant.
